A short note from the creators of Bicycle Patagonia:

Biking around Patagonia was the adventure of a lifetime. While out riding, we realized that the internet was severely lacking a reliable, easily-accessible guide on Patagonia. So we created bicyclepatagonia.com, the 100% free travel guide that we wished we'd had while exploring Patagonia. We hope that it empowers and inspires others to sustainably explore Patagonia.

The existing tourism industry in Patagonia caters predominantly to high-income visitors. These tour companies, the supposed "experts" on Patagonia, provide almost zero free information on their websites. On average, a one-week guided tour with one of these companies will cost you between $2,000 USD and $3,000 USD. In contrast, Bicycle Patagonia enables you to experience the same majestic beauty on a self-guided tour which can be completed for a fraction of the price.

With Bicycle Patagonia as your guide, you'll have maps, directions and the information and you need to get off the beaten path and freely explore Patagonia at your own pace.  Our guide features Patagonia's best-value dining and accommodation options – as determined by us (based on personal experience and the examination of thousands of online reviews). We never receive compensation (in any form) in exchange for the endorsement of a featured business.  Our guide includes maps, directions, water source locations, and in-depth profiles of each national park/reserve and city/town along the route. We've also included loads of historical and cultural information so that you can truly connect with Patagonia throughout your adventure.

Muchas gracias,

The Bicycle Patagonia Team
