Highlights

Río Simpson

Reserva Nacional Río Simpson is a national reserve in Aysén, Chile. The reserve is best experienced from Ruta 240, the road connecting Coyhaique and Puerto Aysén which cuts through the reserve alongside the reserve's centerpiece, Río Simpson. Fly-fishing is popular on Río Simpson and a trail along the river is a nice, cruisy hike. The reserve's CONAF entrance is located on Ruta 240 – 31 km northwest from Coyhaique and 2 kilometers east of Cascada la Virgen.
